Six Bells – appealing to investors

There are lots of pubs with names linked to church bell-ringing and the Six Bells in in Enfield, Middlesex, is one with a lot of ap-peal to potential investors, given its desirable commuter belt location.

“A full peal of six bells has 720 permutations and this Six Bells could have almost as many uses for someone with the right imagination,” says Panayiotis Themistocli of licensed leisure specialists AG&G.

“It’s a handsome building located in an attractive, village-like location within easy walking distance of the centre of Enfield. It is also within 10 minutes’ walk of both Gordon Hill and Chase Side rail stations and those are just half an hour from Liverpool Street.”

“There is so much potential to ring the changes, we’re expecting interest from would-be owner-occupiers, businesses looking for A2 office space and restaurateurs as well as pub operators and property developers.”

The Six Bells is a two-storey building in a thriving area with shops, offices and restaurants and, of course, opposite a church. It has an open-plan ground-floor trading area, a basement cold store and a four-bed flat on the first floor. There is a trade patio to the rear. The total gross internal area is approximately 296 square metres (3,185 square feet) and the site is 227 square metres (2,442 square feet).

The pub is being sold freehold with vacant possession. The guide price is £525,000.
